About Us
The mission of the FIU Office of Education Abroad is to promote education abroad programs and international educational exchange, and to help create a community that can respond to the increasing international needs and obligations of the University.In pursuit of this mission, the Office of Education Abroad is committed to developing and supporting high quality educational experiences, identifying and promoting scholarship opportunities and promoting education abroad opportunities to the FIU community. Each year approximately 500 FIU students participate in education abroad programs in over 20 different countries. FIU has international exchange relationships with over 30 partners, and FIU faculty lead more than 35 short-term programs on five continents. FIU’s education abroad programs are open to both FIU and non-FIU students. |
